What Inspires You? Good question...
The What, Why and Who behind everything we do...
What inspires you? Underdogs who win with surprising tactics and the power of their own feisty faith and perseverance. Some good movies that come to mind would be ... "Rudy" "World's Fastest Indian" and "Talladega Nights"
So many successful leaders have unexpected backgrounds, intense pain and a serious lack of resources. Yet somehow, they rise above all the challenges, pay the rent...eventually... and ultimately manifest their dreams.
What does an underdog look like to you? a tiny little thing that is more powerful than it ever appears to the natural eye, like the smallest atom in a nuclear weapon that can out-burn any raging bonfire...
What are your Greatest Secret Weapons?
The Whisper... not the scream.
The Vision... not the past.
The Thankfulness... not the anxiety.
The Action... not the trying wish.
The Mission... not the meandering.
The Fact... not the assumption.
The Hope... not the disappointment.
The Faith... not the fear.
The Forgiveness... not the grudge.
The Love... not the tyranny.
The Encouragement... not the judge.
Who are Your Mentors? I am a fan of everything from Joel Osteen's "Your Best Life Now" http://www.joelosteen.com/ to Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged" http://www.aynrand.org/ And with movies, I can appreciate just as much diversity. Braveheart, The Matrix and even Joe Rogan's comedic routine have some very profound lessons.
When I am busy with tasks, I really enjoy listening to CDs or DVDs with Motivational Speakers. I recommend Brian Tracy's "Goals!" and John C. Maxwell's "Leadership GOLD" series. I also just discovered Andy Andrews who has a DVD called "The 7 Rules" - it is absolutely fantastic.
What did your mentors teach you?
I started to notice some important details within all the threads of advice from a broad range of leaders. Authors from diverse spiritual perspectives did have some common ground with certain actions that all had testimonies of success. I decided to emulate those same patterns to gain the same successful results. Here are just a few targeted patterns that I have really grown to appreciate:
What did you do with this information or enlightenment? When other people had Vision Boards... I made a Vision Wall! My whole living room was wall-papered in dreams. I started to understand the power of not only giving my dreams a voice... but giving my dreams a very real vision... through art.
I thought, hey... if the power of words alone can be so powerful, then the power of words displayed in a visual reminder can only bring about that much more exponential power. I began to see my art as a very tangible tool to help people give themselves and others the gift of hope & encouragement for creating success and healing in their lives.

How did you find your purpose? Teachable moments & great lessons come only at points of vulnerability, humility, hunger, fear or need. I suppose the reason I embraced my mission came mostly out of those necessities. Overcoming obstacles shape your mission and make you focus on what really matters. I have found that the bigger the goal and the more determined you are... the harder the resistance. All those sayings about iron sharpening iron, abrasive sand making the finest pearls and the most intense pressure making diamonds... I believe all of those metaphors are very true! There was a time in my life where I had nothing more than a small toolbox of art supplies, a laptop and a suitcase. Sometimes the best opportunity for changing one's identity for the better happens when you fail.
I believe it was then that I began... my Tipsy Artist Classes...
Manifesting Success and Healing through Exciting Creativity.

**I made this fun adventurer at Marvel Comics. I like to think of that tricky glove being my paint brushes... but alas... they didn't have those at Marvel Comics... Not yet anyway! http://www.marvel.com/

- They didn't talk about their problems. They talked to their problems about their strengths.
- If they were sick, they didn't talk about their illness, they only spoke of their gratitude for their healing and spent time praying for the healing of others.
- They had a clear vision of their goals in front of them... both figuratively and literally.
- They spoke in the present tense when they addressed their desires.
- They practised the power of meditation and prayer... first thing in the morning... everyday.
- They wrote down their goals.
- They showcased their goals on a vision board.
- They were not afraid to ask for what they really wanted and explore the possibilities differently than everyone else.

I don't think that a lot of people realize the power of visualization and taking action. So many things have changed for me as I started reaching as I was learning. New doors opened and dreams started becoming realities more and more.
ReplyDeleteIf more people were grateful and had attitudes of gratitudes, more people would be happy and of that I am sure.
so many focus on negative, have poor communication and even more are full of assumption and unspoken expectation. Communication is so important with ourselves as well as with others.
I am really proud of what you are doing to help others Tiffany. There are so many resources of information and inspiration our there if people just put their minds to it and took time to study, do their research, write their goals and take action, they would have much better results in their lives.
