Al Good Musical Instruments for Kids Fund

Al Good loved to entertain.  Born to immigrant parents, he discovered his love and talent for music at an early age and traveled across the eastern United States as a teenager performing under the stage name of Blackie.  Soon after he joined Oklahoma City's WKY radio in 1945, he formed the Al Good Orchestra which would spread joy to generations of music lovers for nearly 60 years.  Music brought many things to Al's life including a loving family, countless friends and unforgettable adventures.  During his lifetime, Al always encouraged young people to pursue music as a hobby or career.  Following his death in 2003, his family and son Gary Good of Gary Good Entertainment created a fund at the Oklahoma City Community Foundation that will provide musical instruments to any student who shows a desire to learn.  The Al Good Musical Instruments for Kids Fund is accepting contributions of cash as well as donated instruments.  Contribute to the Al Good Musical Instruments for Kids Fund and help to make sure the music continues to play for years to come.
